Joe Biden, candidate of the Democratic Party in the 2020 US presidential election, says he will be president for all Americans.
It has been a nail-biting experience since the electoral process started on November 3.
Biden’s biggest contender is the the incumbent President Donald Trump who is the candidate of the Republican Party.
International news organisations are already projecting Biden as the winner of the election.

In a tweet on Saturday, Biden acknowledged the ‘victory’ and said there is a lot of work ahead.
“America, I’m honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country,” he wrote.
“The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a President for all Americans — whether you voted for me or not.

Biden defeated Trump in some states that are Republican strongholds.
From results in 45 out of 50 states announced so far, Biden has recorded 273 electoral college votes.

A winner is required to poll 270 from the electoral votes.
