US vice-president Kamala Harris say if elected president, her administration would not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s government.
Speaking in an interview with Fox News, Harris said she would bring fresh ideas and her personal experience.
“My presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency,” Harris said.
”And, like every new president that comes in to office, I will bring my life experiences, my professional experiences, and fresh and new ideas.”

Harris added that she represents a new generation of leaders that is different from those who have been president.
Asked about taxpayer-funded gender reassignment surgery for prisoners, she said “I will follow the law,” but stressed the policy “is not what she is proposing or running on.”
In August, Harris was formally nominated as the Democratic presidential candidate ahead of the election.

Harris secured the support of 2,350 delegates, the threshold required to earn the nomination.
Biden said one of the best decisions he made was picking Harris as his vice-president.
“Now that she will be our party’s nominee, I couldn’t be prouder,” Biden had said.
The US presidential election will be held on November 5 with Harris and Donald Trump, a former president, running for the country’s top political office.
