Willie Obiano, governor of Anambra state, has said he is confident of winning the governorship election “by a landslide”.
Obiano said this on Saturday after casting his vote at Eri Primary School, Otuocha.
The governor also expressed his happiness with the turnout of voters at the ward.
“I’m happy with the turnout and I’m sure I will win by a landslide,” Obiano said.

The election has 37 contestants aspiring to clinch the governorship seat.
Obiano is hoping to be re-elected for a second term in office.
Other aspirants vying for the same office have accused the governor of breaching the electoral act by addressing voters while voting was ongoing.
