Donald Trump, American billionaire and Republican fron-runner, says he is the worst thing that has ever happened to Islamic State (ISIS).
Trump, who recently said that all Muslims should be barred from entering the US, has been facing fierce criticism for his anti-Muslim comments.
“We need a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States while we figure out what the hell is going on; we are out of control,” Trump had said.
His statements have driven series of outrage, in and out of the US, with numerous comparisons to Adolf Hitler’s Nazi days.

OUTRAGE
Kassem Allie, executive administrator of the Islamic Centre of America in Dearborn, Michigan, one of the largest mosques in the US, said of Trump: “He’s trampling on our constitution and packaging it as a snake oil cure for our security concerns. He’s using fear-mongering reminiscent of Nazi Germany and Stalin.”
On twitter, Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Party candidate, wrote: “Tell Donald Trump: Hate is not an American value.”
In Dubai, retail company, Lifestyle, a subsidiary of Landmark Group, banned the sales of Trump’s products following the statement.

“In light of the recent statements made by the presidential candidate in the US media, we have suspended sale of all products from the Trump Home décor range,” CNN quoted Sachin Mundhwa, Lifestyle CEO, to have said.
DEFENCE
In his defence, Trump sees himself as the worst thing to have ever happened to ISIS, maintaining his stance that Muslims be banned from entering the country.
In an interview with ABC News, Trump said he has Muslim friends who share his view that some Muslims could be tremendously dangerous.
“I have people that I have tremendous relationships with; they are Muslims, and they agree with me,” he said.

“There are people that have tremendously bad intentions; we have to be tough, we have to be smart, we have to be vigilant.
“We don’t know what’s happening, we have a president that doesn’t have a clue, we need toughness, and we have to do it quickly. I’m the worst thing that’s ever happened to ISIS, the people in my party fully understand.”

I do understand his frustration about the clueless stance of his president in a dire security wreck that has overwhelmed the USA. But hate is definitely not the way to go about it, it will only aggravate the pressure at day’s end. A systematic approach can help.
