The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo state has elected Macdonald Ebere as its chairman.

Godwin Anaughe, the Imo APC congress committee chairman, said the party adopted a consensus approach in electing the new executives.

He said the party members affirmed the names of each candidate for every elective position.

Matthew Omegara, a former house of representatives member, emerged as the deputy chairman; Greg Madu as secretary; Ikechukwu Umeh as organising secretary; Ifeoma Ndukwu as state woman leader, and Cajetan Duke as the publicity secretary.
