Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the last elections, says the mission of the party is to save Nigerians from suffering.

Obi spoke on Tuesday during the launch of the party’s governorship campaign for the November 11 election in Imo.

Obi, who was accompanied by Alex Otti, governor of Abia state, and Julius Abure, LP national chairman, said the party has all it takes to win the governorship election.

He added that Athan Achonu, LP’s candidate, was chosen as the party’s flagbearer through a free and fair primary election.
