The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) would commence the last phase of the distribution of the Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) on Friday.
Kayode Idowu, the chief press secretary to Attaihiru Jega, the chairman of INEC, said the exercise is expected to hold across six states and nine local government areas in Lagos.
Niger, Katsina, Rivers, Nasarawa, Kaduna, Borno and the local governments were left out in the third phase of the programme.
Idowu saidd the commission held a meeting with leaders of the 22 registered political parties in the country on Wednesday, revealing that the essence of the meeting was to update stalwarts of the parties on the progress of the exercise and explain the challenges that led to a readjustment in the previously announced schedule.

He listed the arrangement of the new schedule as:
Rivers, Nasarawa states and remaining nine LGAs in Lagos:
PVC Distribution: Friday, November 28th – Sunday, November 30th, 2014

CVR: Wednesday, December 3rd – Monday, December 8th, 2014
Kaduna and Katsina states:
PVC Distribution: Saturday, December 6th – Monday, December 8th, 2014
CVR: Wednesday December 10th – Monday, December 15th, 2014.

Niger and Borno states:
PVC Distribution: Friday, December 12th – Sunday, December 14th, 2014
CVR: Wednesday, December 17th – Monday, December 22nd, 2014.
Idowu said the dates were fixed in a manner to ensure a hitch-free exercise, adding that respective parties have pledged support towards the success of the programme.
