The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has named Jimoh Ibrahim as candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the November 26 governorship election in Ondo state.
Auguta Ogakwu, secretary of the commission, disclosed this in a statement issued in Abuja on Thursday.
The statement said Ibrahim and Alabi Omotayo, his running mate were cleared on court order.
Nick Dazang, the commission’s head of publicity, had earlier confirmed Ibrahim’s emergence to TheCable.

Ibrahim is the candidate of the Ali Modu Sheriff faction of the party.
Eyitayo Jegede, believed to enjoy the support of Olusegun Mimiko, the incumbent governor, emerged candidate of the Ahmed Makarfi faction.
A graduate of law from the Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile Ife, Osun state, Ibrahim is a billionaire businessman.

In all 28 candidates were cleared for the election.

Judiciary is our problems in this country. There are APC judges and PDP judges. These people shd not cause problem in Ondo State o. God save Nigeria.
so far INEC has declared Jimoh Ibrahim as PDP candidate. PDP should forget winning the election.
