Alex Iwobi and William Troost-Ekong have been ruled out of the AFCON qualifier game against Seychelles.
Iwobi who is ill was not listed for Arsenal’s game against Cardiff in the English Premier League (EPL) on Saturday.
Troost-Ekong, a defender, is ruled out due to injury.
The Super Eagles Twitter handle confirmed the development on Monday.

The tweet read: “Just In: Iwobi, Aina and Ekong are out of Seychelles game due to injuries. Only Henry Onyekuru is in camp at the moment, we expect others early tomorrow.”

The tweet also confirmed that Henry Onyekuru is the only player in the team’s base in Seychelles.
Ola Aina had also been ruled out of the game after sustaining a muscular injury.
It is momentarily unknown if some of the players on standby will be called up to replace the absentees.
