Innocent Bola-Audu re-elected president of senior civil servants association

Innocent Bola-Audu, president of president of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN)

Innocent Bola-Audu has been elected as the president of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN).

Bola-Audu and officers of the central working committee of the association were elected during the emergency national delegates conference (NDC) of the ASCSN held at the weekend.

In a communiqué signed by Bola-Audu and Gamaliel Acho, the vice-president, the delegates commended the election for being free and fair.

They condemned attempts by some former and present ASCSN members to destroy the association and stop the ongoing police investigation involving alleged fraud in the association.

The national delegates appealed to the inspector-general of police (IGP) to direct the commissioner of police in the federal capital territory (FCT) to unseal and open the Abuja annex of the national secretariat for the Bola-Audu-led executive.

The delegates also commended the judgment of the national industrial court sitting in Abuja over the reinstatement of Bola-Audu as the “authentic” president of ASCSN.

Other elected officers are Hassan Abba, vice-president; Tari Dounana, vice-president; Andrew Magaji, vice-president; Odunayo Adesoye, vice-president; Rahab Maigari, national treasurer; Nkiru Aneke, internal auditor; Jonathan Aligbe, national trustee; Gold Dybo, national ex-officio; Isaac Lingmu, national ex-officio; Christopher Lengbedion, national ex-officio; Adebayo Oluwa, national ex-officio; and Orisamuyiwa Abidakun, national ex-officio.
