Insecurity: We won’t fail Nigerians, says defence minister

Bashir Magashi, minister of defence, says the federal government remains committed to ensuring improved security.

He said this on Wednesday during the inauguration of some projects at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna.

According to NAN, he also spoke on the government’s efforts in terms of ensuring “first class training” of officer cadets of the NDA, adding that the investment is to promote an enabling environment for security operatives to carry out their duties effectively.

“We are all products of the NDA. We are proud of its achievements so far, and we are hoping that we will do what is required to bring peace and stability to the nation,” he said.
