Folashade Airebamen, the new president/chairman governing council of the Institute of Corporate and Public Sector Professionals (ICPSP), has unveiled a seven-point agenda for the institute during her tenure.
ICPSP is a body that develops the skills, effectiveness and profile of people working within the corporate and public sector of the Nigerian economy.
Airebamen, who spoke at the investiture which held virtually on Tuesday, said membership drive would form the bedrock of her administration.
She listed her other agenda to include continuing professional development, international collaboration, international conference and events, NYSC scheme and state coordinators, benevolent fund as well as institute’s secretariat and permanent site.

“We are keen to increase the institute’s membership base through value-adding membership services while we are also interested in capacity building for members in the corporate and public sectors,” she said.
The new ICPSP boss said the institute has an ongoing working partnership with a UK higher education provider which would bring benefits through a discount of 40 percent for members who desire various academic programmes abroad.
Airebamen also pledged that her administration would invest resources on research with a target on facility.

She said: “We are determined to explore some ways in which our members’ certificates will be recognised through the recognition of pure learning (RPL) policy of education partners which will help our members to complete their courses on time and at a cheaper cost.
“As we plan to build our permanent site, we hope to provide an effective library, research center, conference room, and training space for the benefit of our members. Although this is a long term project, we are determined to set up a foundation and road map towards achieving the feat.”
