‘Intellectual par excellence’ – Dapo Abiodun celebrates Shettima on 58th birthday

Dapo Abiodun, governor of Ogun, has celebrated Vice-President Kashim Shettima on his 58th birthday.

In a statement on Monday, Abiodun described the vice-president, who was born on September 2, 1966, as an intellectual par excellence and a reliable patriot.

He said Shettima’s statesmanship, resourcefulness, and “penchant for paradigm change” made him a suitable choice for the post of vice president.

“On behalf of my family, the government and the good people of Ogun State, I heartily congratulate our cerebral Vice president, Senator Kashim Shettima, on the occasion of his 58th birthday,” he said.

“Today, we celebrate not only the anniversary of your birth but also the remarkable journey you have undertaken in service to our great nation. Your unwavering commitment to nation-building and your relentless pursuit of progress have left an indelible mark on the fabric of our society.

“Throughout your distinguished career, you have exemplified the qualities of a true leader.”

The Ogun state governor described Shettima as a visionary leader and a voice for the voiceless in the society.

“As Vice President, you have continued to champion initiatives aimed at fostering economic growth, social inclusion, and infrastructural development. Your visionary leadership in advocating for education, healthcare, and youth empowerment has inspired many and positioned our nation for a brighter future,” he said.

“Your ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, from local communities to international partners, demonstrates your commitment to building a united and prosperous Nigeria.

“Your compassion and empathy shine through in your interactions with citizens. You have always been a voice for the voiceless, advocating for those in need and ensuring that their concerns are addressed. Your humility has endeared you to many, making you a beloved figure among Nigerians.
