The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed that the Super Eagles will play Portugal in an exhibition match on November 17.
The federation announced the friendly game in a post on its website on Thursday.
The match will take place at the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon, Portugal. The kick-off time is yet to be announced.
“The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Federação Portuguesa de Futebol have signed a formal agreement for the Super Eagles and A Seleção to clash in a prestige senior team friendly at the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon on Thursday, 17th November,” the statement reads.

The match will serve as preparation ahead of the Qatar 2022 World Cup for Portugal. They are in Group H alongside Ghana, Uruguay, and South Korea.
The Eagles, who missed out on the mundial, will be using the match to prepare ahead of the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers billed to resume in March next year.
The game will be the first time Nigeria and Portugal will be facing each other in the men’s senior national team level.

The match comes up after the Eagles play Algeria on September 27.
