Zenith Bank customers lament inability to access mobile app for 48 hours

Zenith Bank customers have taken to X to complain about their inability to access the financial institution’s mobile app.

Users experienced login issues while trying to access the mobile app after Zenith Bank updated its banking application.

On Tuesday, Zenith Bank informed its customers via text, email, messages and social media platforms that its app would be automatically updated to the new version on October 1.

“Please be informed that we are currently undertaking a routine maintenance of our Information Technology Infrastructure, to enable us to significantly improve the quality of service rendered to you,” Zenith Bank posted.

“On Tuesday, October 01, 2024, our Mobile Banking App, USSD Service, Internet Banking and Corporate Internet Banking platforms will be unavailable between the hours of 12:01 am and 02:30 pm WAT.

“We solicit your understanding and offer our assurances that measures are in place to minimize any service interruptions during the exercise.”

However, many customers have complained of unsuccessful attempts to log into the updated mobile app 24 hours after the update.
