IT firm, Appi Technologies, says it will make a presentation to the Nigeria Postal Service, NIPOST, on the need to resolve the recent bottleneck resulting from the rise in licence fee for operation of logistic firms within the country.
Chidera Emerenini, chief innovation officer of the company, said in Lagos on Monday that Appi had developed some applications that could enable NIPOST relate better with the private operators in the logistics business.
“We want to partner with NIPOST to leverage on technology with a view to improving its systems and service delivery, improve credibility and manage a database of all logistics and dispatch operators in Nigeria,” Emerenini said.
“Our target is to use technology to solve relevant issues in both business and society with a working knowledge of modern IT solutions which has a national outlook that will help all stakeholders send, track, pay and deliver value that is higher than the current system in place.”
