North African giants Algeria and Tunisia have been drawn into the same group for the Africa Cup of Nations 2017. And they will be joined by West African powerhouse Senegal.
The draw was made in Libreville in Gabon Wednesday night.
Nigeria did not qualify for the championship and will be missing for the second consecutive time when the trophy it won in 1980, 1994 and 2013 gets a fresh winner.
The 31st edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, dubbed TOTAL AFCON GABON 2017, will take place from January 14 to February 5, 2017.

The matches will be played in the Gabonese cities of Libreville, Franceville, Oyem and Port Gentil.
