Ahmed Musa, Super Eagles stand in captain, says the team will win the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification game against South Africa.
The Al Nassr FC player told TheCable that the Eagles are determined to return to AFCON as they last participated in 2013.
“I have never lost a game in South Africa and I’ll never lose by the grace of God,” Musa said.
“We came here for the three points and not a point. The game is going to be very difficult for other teams but we have to wait for 90 minutes to see.

“We know the importance of the game. South Africa needs the three points, so, we know that it’s going to be a tough game but after 90 minutes we’ll see who is going home with the maximum points.”
The attacker said it is too early to talk about Nigeria being a favourite for the 2019 AFCON which will take place in Ghana.
He said: “First and foremost, we have to qualify before we start thinking of being the favourite of the AFCON.

“As you can see that we have the youngest team in Africa. I think the oldest in our team right now is 27-year-old while the youngest is about 19.
“Any of the boys is ready to play anytime they are called upon, that’s the most important thing in the team.
“We’ll miss the players that cannot feature in this match but we remain focused and the team is ready to play.”
