Super Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi, says he hopes to be an Arsenal player for a long time.
Iwobi said Arsenal had always been his dream club, adding that he is “always proud” to be a Gunner.
“It has always been my childhood dream [to play for Arsenal]. I have been playing for Arsenal since I was six,” Iwobi told Mirror UK.
“The fact I am representing them now is like a dream come true.

“I am always proud to wear the Arsenal colours, and long may it continue.”
Iwobi said Arsene Wenger’s sudden departure from the North London club took him by surprise.
The 21-year-old Nigerian says he is however excited to be playing under a new manager.

“I was surprised by his [Wenger’s] decision,” he said.
“[Wenger] has been there for me since I joined the club and has been very inspirational and influential on my career, but I am excited having our new manager next season.”
Iwobi scored Nigeria’s only goal in the Super Eagles’ 1-2 loss to the Three Lions on Saturday.
