Iwobi again missing in action as Arsenal defeat Swansea

Nigerian forward Alex Iwobi watched from the bench for the second week running as his side defeated visitors Swansea.

Arsenal came from behind for the third straight match to hand a 2-1 defeat to Swansea at the Emirates.

Swansea led at the break through Sam Clucas’ strike that came completely against the run of play in the 22nd minute

Arsenal struggled to break down Paul Clement’s men in the first 45 minutes, although Alexis Sanchez came close towards the end of the half, only to be denied by Lukasz Fabianski.

Sead Kolasinac powered an unstoppable effort beyond the reach of Fabianski for Arsenal’s equaliser in the 51st minute.

Aaron Ramsey got his 50th Arsenal goal when he swept home a low ball to extend Arsenal’s lead in the 58th minute.

The win sees Arsenal move to the fourth position on the English Premier League table.
