Alex Iwobi scored in the 3-1 win over Stoke City to see Arsenal go top of the table on goal difference ahead of Chelsea, who play against West Bromwich at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Arsenal have been in excellent form and haven’t lost since their opening-day defeat to Liverpool.
Stoke City took the lead from the spot after Granit Xhaka caught Joe Allen with a reckless elbow.
Joe Allen broke into the right-hand side of the Arsenal penalty area before he took on Granit Xhaka, who caught the Welshman in the face with a swinging elbow and gave away a needless penalty., which Charlie Adam converted easily in the 29th minute to put Stoke ahead.

Three minutes before half time, Sanchez spun on the edge of the Stoke penalty area and picked out Hector Bellerin with a lovely pass over to his right. The full-back was in a pocket of space and immediately fired a low cross in towards Theo Walcott, who then beat Lee Grant with a great first-time finish to level up for Arsenal.
In the 49th minute, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain clipped a cross into the box; Lee Grant was off his line and Mezut Ozil guided a delicate header over the goalkeeper as Stoke City tried to play offside to put the gunners ahead.
Alexis Sanchez was fouled in the 75th minute but Lee Mason waved play on. Alex Iwobi charged from the left, picked up possession, drove into the box, and steered a low fizzer into the bottom left hand corner to secure the three points for the Gunners.

Stoke’s last away league win at Arsenal came in the first game of the 1981/82 season, with Lee Chapman scoring the only goal of the game.
Stoke City have now lost two of their last ten Premier League games (W5 D3 L2) and have won their last two matches in the competition without conceding a goal before.
