Manchester City continued their stunning unbeaten run by defeating Arsenal 3-1 at the Etihad.
Pep Guardiola’s men were unbeaten in 22 games coming into Sunday’s match.
Kevin De Bruyne’s well-taken goal was the difference at the end of the first forty-five minutes.
Petr Cech parried away a first-time shot from De Bruyne but the Belgian’s low strike found its way inside the far post in the 19th minute.

If Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane had been more clinical, City might have gone into the break with a wider margin.
Arsenal enjoyed a few decent moments before the break, with Ramsey nearly equalising just before half-time.
Sergio Aguero doubled City’s lead in the 50th minute, after sending Cech the wrong way from the penalty spot.

Ederson failed to hold on to a powerful Alex Iwobi strike and Aaron Ramsey bundled it over the line, but City’s goalkeeper was adjudged to have been fouled by the Welshman, hence it was disallowed.
Alexandre Lacazette, who came on for Francis Coquelin in the 56th minute, fired Arsenal back into the game when he powered the ball home in the 65th minute.
Gabriel Jesus restored City’s two-goal lead when he tapped home from six yards out for City’s third of the game.
