Iwobi’s goal helps Arsenal to Watford rout

Well-taken goals from Alexis Sanchez, Alex Iwobi, Hector Bellerin and Theo Walcott kept Arsenal’s title dreams alive at the Emirates with a 4-0 thrashing of Watford FC.

Alexis tapped home from Iwobi’s cross from the left flank at close range, following Gomes’ save in the 4th minute into the game.

In the 38th minute, Iwobi coolly slotted home from 12 yards from a Sanchez pullout from the right to make it two for the hosts.

Nyom’s clearance could only gift Bellerin the third goal for Arsenal, whose volley takes a wicked deflection past Gomes in the 48th minute.

A scintillating performance from Iwobi earned him a standing ovation when he was substituted in the 73rd minute for Theo Walcott, who himself finished from the 2 yards out to get the better of Nyom exactly in the 90th minute to make it four.
