Gernot Rohr, Super Eagles head coach, has extended invitations to 25 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) players ahead of the friendly game against Mexico next month.
Enyimba’s duo of Anayo Iwuala and John Noble lead the list of invitees that are expected to report to Serob Legacy Hotel in Abuja by June 22.
Also invited are Ibrahim Olawoyin of Enugu Rangers, Rivers United’s Ifeanyi Anaemena, Ekundayo Ojo of Enyimba and Kwara United’s Stephen Jude.
Only 22 of them will make the final list and travel to the United States for the exhibition game.

The match is expected to kick off by 8 pm at LA Coliseum, Los Angeles, on July 3 which translates to 4 am on July 4 in Nigeria.
