Hip-hop artiste Olatunde Owoleye, better known as Jahbless, and producer has revealed his intention to sue Timaya’s producer for “lifting his beat”.
Jahbless took to his social media accounts to challenge Timaya for lifting a beat from his single Jeje, featuring Oritsefemi for his latest single, Hallelujah.
“Hey bro Timaya who ever produced that your halleluyah jam should be jailed, he lifted the instrumental off my album, ‘I am me’ album track to jeje ft oritsefemi , and gave it to you,” he wrote.
The singer further said he would love to believe that the Bayelsa-born musician knows nothing on the issue, telling him to avoid producers who will tarnish his image, emphasizing his intent to go to court to seek redress.

“I want to believe you know nothing about it because with your years of experience in this game you should know the consequences of copyright infringements.
“Please avoid such producers in future because they might tarnish your image. And for you Mr. Producer, see you in court.”
Timaya’s video for Hallelujah, produced by Jez Blenda, was released on September 10, with over 20,000 views on YouTube and massive airplay on television stations.
