Abdul-Azeez Adediran, governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos, says it is too late for Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the incumbent, to placate those he has hurt in the last four years of his administration.

On Saturday, Adediran, better known as Jandor, will contest against Sanwo-Olu, candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), and Gbadebo Rhodes-Viviour of the Labour Party (LP) for the governorship position of Lagos.

Speaking in an interview with Arise Television on Wednesday, Adediran said he will win the governorship poll by a landslide, adding that his administration will bring a “breath of fresh air” into the state.

“The outgoing governor is jittery already. They are everywhere and trying to appeal to those they have harassed over the last four years and see if they can get things done,” he said.

“Unfortunately, it is too late. On Saturday, Lagosians across all tribes will be heading to poll and elect what we call a governor who is going to give them a breath of fresh air and that is being found in us as a people and as a party.

“We are very optimistic that this time, the People Democratic Party will take Lagos and win it by a landslide.”

On Monday, Sanwo-Olu begged residents of the state to vote for him, citing his administration’s ability to attract “billions of dollars” as one of the many reasons he deserves a second term.
