Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan attended the world peace forum in Malaysia on Friday.
The forum, which had in attendance 700 young leaders from 102 countries, was organised by the Junior Chamber
International (JCI) and the Malaysian state of Sarawa.
During his speech at the programme, Jonathan urged leaders to avoid ego and follow their conscience.
The Nigerian leader also appealed to world leaders to aspire to meet their social obligations to those they govern, saying doing so would minimise conflicts and bring about a more peaceful society.
