President Goodluck Jonathan will on Friday attend the burial of his younger sister, Mrs. Nancy Jonathan-Olei, who died on Sunday, January 4, 2015.
Nancy’s death led to a one-day postponement of the inauguration of the president’s campaign organisation earlier scheduled for Monday January 5.
According to Reuben Abati, special adviser to the president on media and publicity, a burial programme issued on behalf of the Jonathan and Otazi families of Otuoke showed that Nancy’s body would leave the Otuoke Comprehensive Hospital Mortuary at 9 am for her residence in Otuoke.
Her remains will be received by members of her family at the residence and moved to the Dame Patience Jonathan Square for a Service of Songs scheduled to begin at 10 am.
