Jonathan visits ex-CBN governor, Sanusi

President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday visited Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and emir of Kano, with whom he had a fractious relationship at a time.

Jonathan suspended Sanusi as CBN governor months to the end of his tenure, and the action generated a series of law suits, as Sanusi pushed for the court to void his suspension.

However, both men made up after Sanusi emerged emir of Kano.

In continuation of their new-found relationship, both men met up on Wednesday morning, shortly before the president commenced his re-election campaign rally in the state.
