The 258 management, Anthony Joshua’s team, says it has accepted terms setting up a fight between its client and Tyson Fury on December 3.

The management company revealed the development in a tweet on its Twitter handle on Tuesday.

It added that the agreement for the bout was reached alongside Matchroom Boxing, Joshua’s promoter, according to the terms made available by Fury’s team.

Communication has, however, been halted in honour of Queen Elizabeth’s demise.

“258 and Matchroom Boxing can confirm, on behalf of Anthony Joshua, that we accepted all terms presented to us by Fury’s team for a fight on Dec 3rd last Friday,” the tweet reads.

“Due to the Queen’s passing, it was agreed to halt all communication. We are awaiting a response.”

The heavyweight duo recently rekindled their rivalry when Fury took to social media to challenge Joshua to an all-British bout.

The pair had been set to fight in August 2021 in a world’s undisputed heavyweight championship before an arbitration judge ruled that Deontay Wilder was contractually entitled to a third fight against Fury.

The Gypsy King would go on to win the bout with an 11th-round knockout.

The fallout of the proposed bout forced Joshua into a “plan b” fight with Oleksandr Usyk, who defeated the Briton twice to claim the WBA, IBF, and WBO titles.
