Jude was only a ‘scapegoat’, Paul Okoye tells Peter

The drama between the Okoye brothers of PSquare seems to be unending since Peter took to Twitter to announce the dismissal of Jude, the manager of the group and their brother.

In an attempt to resolve the difference, Paul recently said Jude was only a scapegoat and victim of the crisis.

He took to social media to plead with his partner and also remind him of the love they share as a family.

“All you all want is PSquare,…all I want is family, love and care!!! Social media is the new root of all evil!! There’s family before PSquare and there will always be family after PSquare,” he wrote on Instagram.

“Jude was only a scape goat and a victim. The person who has been keeping us together for all these years, the truth is peter and Paul have issues!. For the first time, I decided to do something outside PSquare, and that is the case study here. I have always supported my brother 100% from his personal endorsements to dance with Peter which some are still on my IG.

“Now I have just three questions….Why is it that these things are happening immediately I realized muno’s singles under Rudeboy Recordz. Number two, how come after Jude stopped managing PSquare for over a month now and the problem still exists? Number three, why is he in a hurry to go solo and doing solo? It’s very sad, and very heartbroken. I wish these things never came out to the public at first…

“Now our fans are divided. Please nobody should support any teamPaul, I don’t need that… Please desist from it because that’s evil…and for those of you promoters, supporting him to be performing PSquare’s songs alone on stage, you are only killing us and destroying us the more.

“Dear brother, I am begging you, even if you don’t want Jude anymore and you don’t want PSquare, you are forever going to be my brother … But I wish the three of us could still do this together, because it’s a thing of joy… People love us so much, not only because of our good music but seeing brothers doing it together and keeping it together, setting a good example foe other families and our kids.

“Please swallow your pride. Forgive and forget, we can still turn these things around…. If I have said anything or done anything that hurts you, I am very sorry…. And to all our true fans, please pray for us. God bless you all.”

Paul Okoye has since deleted the post.

However, Peter has responded to the plea,  saying he he does not have any score to settle with Paul.

“For public record, I don’t have any issues with my brother Paul. The only issue I have is with the management which I have disassociated myself with. There is a clear line between family and business, Jude still remains my brother, he is just no longer my manager,” he wrote.

“For the record also, PSquare still remains, the only difference is that we are under separate managements and there is nothing wrong with that. I see no wrong in doing separate projects and and still being together as PSquare.

“I took family issues to the public when I went on a Twitter rant but I apologised for that, you shouldn’t do the same, making me look like a bad person. Giving the public an opportunity to crucify me is not the solution.

“You went solo first by releasing a song with ‘Tiwa’ and your new artists. I am not against Rudeboy Records, Northside entertainment and wish you the very best. Thanks for the love once again.”
