President Muhammadu Buhari and his predecessor, Goodluck Jonathan, met on Thursday, Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman, has confirmed.
The meeting, which was well concealed from the media, took place at night at the official residence of the president in Abuja.
The following day, Buhari also met with former President Olusegun Obasanjo but that was reported in the media.
Details of the meetings have not been revealed, but there will be speculations surrounding the probes being launched against Jonathan’s administration in the last few weeks.

Presidency has said it would limit its probe to Jonathan’s government, and key actors are already being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) as well as the Department of State Services (DSS).
Jonathan said in his last days in office that if only his government was probed, it would amount to a witch hunt.

When is Nigeria going to move forward when some people are above law. No President should be above law. Each must answer to their stewards. If Jonathan is involved in any deal. He must be called to answer to move Nigeria forward otherwise fair probe is absence
Nigerians will never learn. You have assumed Jonathan went to beg Buhari not to probe him or stop probing his Aides. Its because the President is analogue or he would have realised that 1973 is a far cry from 2015. He will soon find out that he is just wasting our time and chasing shadows. who is so dumb as to steal and leave a track, even in the Banks! He soon realise what the times are saying/
You are quite right. No President should be above the law, especially the one who refused to appear at the Oputa Panel and still has not explained his involvement in the $2.8’Billion NNPC scandal, 23 suitcases and the N25Billion PTF scandal.
If Nigeria continues to overlook things like looters then every government have the same excuses to let it go. Nigeria needs to start shame looters to future transparent and accountability. In UK, no Prime minister is above law. Recently PM face panels
