President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Imo state.
The president’s visit comes amid the sit-at-home order issued by the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to Imo residents.
His aircraft touched down at Sam Mbakwe cargo airport, Owerri, the state capital, about 9:00 am on Thursday.
The president was received by David Umahi, chairman of the South-east Governors’ Forum, and Hope Uzodimma, Imo governor.
