A two-storey school building has collapsed around Zara road in Plateau state.
Eyewitnesses said some students and teachers are still trapped in the building.
The school — Saint Academy — which is located in the Busa Buji community of Jos north LGA, collapsed on Friday morning while students and teachers were in classes for the third term examination.
Some parents are on the scene, crying and pleading for the rescue of their wards.

First responders and police officers have also arrived the scene.
Sunday Abdu, executive secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), said the agency immediately mobilised its personnel and relevant agencies to the scene to coordinate rescue efforts.
He said personnel of the Jos Metropolitan Development Board (JMDB) and other relevant officials are also on the scene.

Eugene Nyelong, zonal coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), said the number of casualties is yet to be ascertained.
