President Bola Tinubu has sworn in Musa Aliyu as the chairperson of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC).
Tinubu also swore in Tunji Olaopa as the chairperson of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC).
The brief ceremony took place before the commencement of the federal executive council (FEC) meeting at the council chambers of the presidential villa.
The new ICPC chairperson served as the attorney-general and commissioner for justice in Jigawa between 2019 and 2023.

On October 26, Aliyu was confirmed by the senate for his current role.
Olaopa, on the other hand, is an academic and a former permanent secretary.
Tinubu also appointed eleven other members of the FCSC.

Those sworn in include Daudu Jalo ( Adamawa, Gombe, and Taraba), Gekpe Isu (Akwa Ibom and Cross River), Chamberlain Nwele (Anambra, Ebonyi, and Enugu), Rufus Godwin (Rivers, Delta and Bayelsa), Adamu Hussein (Niger and the FCT), and Aminu Nabegu (Jigawa and Kano).
Others are Hindatu Abdullahi (Kaduna and Katsina), Shehu Aliyu (Kebbi, Sokoto, and Zamfara), Odekunle Aduke (Kogi and Kwara), Jide Jimoh (Lagos and Ogun), and Festus Oyebade (Osun and Oyo).
