Abubakar Malami, attorney-general of the federation; Abdulrahman Dambazau, minister of interior; and Winifred Oyo-Ita, head of the civil service of the federation, are currently at the house of representatives.
The top government officials were invited to the green chamber over the reinstatement of Abdulrasheed Maina, former chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms, into the service.
All the government officials linked to Maina’s controversial reinstatement have all denied their involvement in the deal.
Mohammed Sani-Kado, a lawyer, is representing Maina at the panel.

Maina’s secret reinstatement had generated widespread anger, leading to an order for his immediate disengagement by President Muhammadu Buhari, who then ordered Oyo-Ita to present a report on the recall.
Oyo-Ita indicted the president himself — while holding Malami and Dambazau responsible for plotting the recall.
Dambazau had previously blamed Oyo-Ita’s office.
