The Kaduna government has commenced an operation to find looted COVID-19 relief materials in the state.
The operation is a house-to-house search by the police and other security agencies.
Nasir el-Rufai, Kaduna governor, confirmed the operation in a tweet on Tuesday.
There has been looting of public and private properties by mobs across the country.

Besides stealing doors and office equipment, a mob carted away “expired and dangerous” drugs, the Kaduna government said.
