Yohanna Buru, a Kaduna-based pastor, has appealed to public spirited Muslims to assist in building a mosque for members of the Centre for Muslims with Disability in Nigeria in Kaduna.
Buru made the appeal when executive members of the centre led other associations of physically-challenged persons to his residence in Kaduna south on Tuesday.
The pastor called on Muslims, who are able to, to assist the centre realise its goal of having a mosque to enable its members fulfill their daily prayers and obligations.
“They don’t have the means of building a mosque, all they need is support from everyone irrespective of his religion or tribe because the house of God is for every one,” he said.

“God listens to their prayer, and that is why am begging all all Muslim organisations, and wealthy individual to assist them with any small building materials, so as to have their place of worship.”
He expressed appreciation to them for the visit, saying it would strengthen peace and unity needed “to boost interfaith activities”.
RIlwanu Abdullahi, executive director of the centre, thanked the pastor for supporting the call to raise funds for the mosque.
