The Kaduna state government has commended Seun Awogbenle, Nigerian youth advocate and author, over his latest book on new vision for Nigeria.
In June, Awogbenle had launched his book titled ‘The Urgency of Now; Why Nigeria Needs A Vision of Prosperity, Protection and Liberty.’
The book has continued to get positive reviews from several individuals since its release.
In a letter through Muhammad Sani Abdullahi, Kaduna’s chief of staff, the state government hailed the author’s writing style and encouraged him to sustain the momentum.

“I am pleased to acknowledge the receipt of your letter dated July 28, 2021 and express my sincere gratitude for enclosing copies of your new book: The Urgency of Now,” it read.
“I am appreciative of your style of writing, and I encourage you to sustain the tempo. While appreciating your kind gesture, please accept the assurances of my highest consideration and best wishes.”
In the 10-chapter book, Awogbenle argued that what Nigeria needs is a new vision, not secession or division.

The author had earlier said the book was inspired by his years of introspection on how he thinks Nigeria can pull back from the brinks in the face of the present uncertainty and endless agitation.
He had also said the book, which was foreword by Simon Kolawole, founder/CEO of Cable Newspaper Ltd, offers useful insights on how countries such as Singapore and the US became successful through calculated vision even without natural resources.
The virtual launch of the book was graced by Bukola Saraki, former senate president, and Femi Gbajabiamila, speaker of the house of representatives.
