Nigeria’s dance queen Kafayat Shafau Ameh simply known as Kaffy has just lost her mother.
Kaffy’s mum passed away in the early hours of Wednesday March 11.
A source confirmed to the TheCable that Kaffy’s mother’s yearlong battle with an eye infection led to her demise.

Kaffy spent the early part of her childhood in London. Her family moved back to Nigeria and her parents separated when she was 12 years old.

Kaffy’s mother became a single parent struggling to care for Kaffy and her siblings. Her personal struggles instinctively led Kaffy to empower herself through fitness training and sports at the National Stadium in Lagos.
Kaffy later started making a living as a fitness instructor and began dancing when she decided to infuse the element of fun into her training sessions.
