Kenyans are currently hitting hard at President Paul Kagame and his country, Rwanda, over his response to a Kenyan who expressed mild opposition to his third term bid.
Earlier on Tuesday, it was reported that only 10 Rwandans are against Kagame’s re-election bid, generating numerous comments across the African continent.
Levi Kones, a Kenyan writer, took to Twitter to advise Kagame about his legacy but his tweet led to bickering between both countries on social media.
@levikones worry more about your own legacy …if you got any at all to think about!!

The response from Kagame drove an outburst from many Kenyans on Twitter who continued hitting at the president through hashtag #SomeOneTellKagame.

#SomeOneTellKagame that term limits are not put in constitutions to beautify the documents. They are part of democratic governance.

Zimbabwe was once the most self sufficient country in Africa. With the same leader, all have gone. Because of greed. #SomeoneTellKagame

#SomeOneTellKagame true leaders don't put opposition in jail nor murder them. True leaders create more leaders. Rwanda needs a new president

Rwandans were also swift in responding, calling on Kenyans to mind their businesses and leave Rwanda and it’s president alone.

African leaders will never learn. The Genocide of 1994 has not thought these people a lesson. Ok na, kontinu
It is a big concern that Kagame doesn’t realise a precedent his setting by changing constitution for his personal gain. It is sickening and shameful to only think about him while while putting in peril a future of his nation.
