The Kaduna branch of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) is set to honour Uba Sani, governor of the state, with an award of excellence.
In a letter signed by Madaki Sheyin, the chairman of NMA in Kaduna, and sent to the governor, Sani will also be conferred with the grand patron of the association.
The letter said the recognition is a testament to Sani’s dedicated efforts in advancing the healthcare sector amid the nation’s economic challenges and the state’s debt burden.
The award will be formally presented at the upcoming annual general meeting and scientific conference of the association in Kaduna on August 10.
