Ahmed Musa, Super Eagles captain, has been appointed as a sports ambassador for Kano state.
Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, the secretary to the state government, announced Musa’s appointment on Wednesday.
Bichi said Musa’s appointment — with effect from July 24, 2024 — was based on his track record of excellent performance, experience, and humanitarian efforts in the state.
He urged the former Leicester City forward to use his ambassadorial role to promote the state’s sporting activities, including its local players and clubs.
