The Kano state house of assembly has passed a supplementary budget of N99 billion after a third reading.
The lawmakers passed the supplementary appropriation bill during plenary on Thursday.
On August 27, Abba Yusuf, governor of Kano, transmitted the supplementary budget proposal to the assembly.
“This supplementary budget is not just about increasing spending; it’s about ensuring that we meet the needs of our people. We are focused on infrastructural development, enhancing human capital, and making significant improvements in the health and education sectors,” the governor said.
