The Kano Fire Service says it saved 15 people and property worth N104 million from 57 fire incidents in November.
In a statement on Thursday, Saminu Abdullahi, spokesperson of the service, said only two persons lost their lives, while property worth N43.7 million were destroyed by fire during the period.
He said the service received 12 false alarms and responded to 12 rescue calls within the state.
Abdullahi advised residents to be more careful with fire and other inflammable substances, especially during the harmattan season.

“The service responded to 12 rescue calls and seven false alarms from residents of the state,” NAN quoted Abdullahi as saying.
