Kano Pillars are Nigeria Professional Football League champions for a third straight season.
In Sunday’s game at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Pillars walloped visitors Nembe City 4-0.
Closest rivals, Enyimba could only manage a 1-1 draw against Dolphins at the Liberation Stadium in Port Harcourt.
With 65 points, Pillars can afford to lose their final game of the season next Sunday, incidentally against Enyimba who are four points behind the champions.
