Chelsea’s midfielder N’golo Kanté has been named the EA Sports Premier League player of the season.
It is the third major award the 26-year-old has received after an outstanding season with Chelsea.
In April, he won the Professional Football Association (PFA) player of the year award, while two weeks ago, the Football Writers’ Association named him the footballer of the year in England.
His latest award was announced on the English Premier League’s Twitter handle on Sunday.

The French man beat compatriot Eden Hazard, Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez, Tottenham’s Harry Kane, Everton’s Romelu Lukaku and Manchester United’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the award.
He became the second player to win the Premier League with different clubs in consecutive seasons, having been an integral part of Leicester City’s incredible 2015/16 campaign.
