On November 6, over nine persons were killed during an attack on a procession of Maulud celebrants at Rugar Kusa village in Musawa LGA of the state.
The bandits invaded the village in droves and began shooting sporadically at people who were celebrating Maulud.
Dikko Radda, governor of Katsina, had condemned the killing of residents by bandits, adding that no stone would be left unturned in his administration’s commitment to fight banditry, restore peace and stability in the state.
