According to various reports, veteran Nigerian actress, Kate Henshaw, is set to venture into politics, and her political ambition will be officially unveiled on www.campaign.ng on July 19, which is her 43rd birthday.
Henshaw, a native of of Cross River state, is said to be eyeing the Calabar Munical/Odukpani Federal Constituency slot at the federal house of representatives.
By October, Kate will run on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the primary elections.
If, she wins, she would join actors such as Richard Mofe Damijo, Bob Manuel Udokwu, Hilda Dokubo and Tony Muonagor (Tony One Week) who have ventured into politics successfully.
