Kathy Griffin will join the celebrity style series, Fashion Police, replacing her friend and mentor, the late Joan Rivers.
Kathy Griffin and late Joan Rivers have a similar sense of humour, as they have been acquaintances for ages; so it is possible to think this will work.
According to a report by TMZ, the comedienne is set to replace Rivers, joined by Rivers’ daughter and Fashion Police producer Melissa Rivers, as well as co-hosts Giuliana Rancic and Kelly Osbourne.
It’s unclear if fellow co-host George Kotsiopoulos will stay on as well.

The show will cease to be aired weekly, but will air only during awards season and other special occasions.
Earlier in November, Griffin stated publicly that the channel had approached her but that she was yet to make a decision about it.
“I don’t know if the situation is correct at this time for me or right for me at this time,” she said.

Rivers tragically passed on September 4 following an unplanned throat procedure at Yorkville Endoscopy in New York City on August 28.
A coroner linked her death with damage caused by low blood oxygen after she stopped breathing during a laryngoscopy and an endoscopy in what was called “a predictable complication of medical therapy”.
It is understood Rivers’ daughter Melissa had insisted to producers that her mother’s replacement be someone her mother would have approved of. The late Joan Rivers was a mentor and friend to Griffin, and a big supporter of her career.
The Fashion Police series will return for the Golden Globe Awards on January 12, 2015.
